Bridal Consultants

Our Bridal Consultants are your personal navigators, providing advice and guidance from start to finish.

Our consultants are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. We listen first and then ask questions to help us fully understand your vision. Our consultants then work with you to identify dresses from our broad, international collections. This is the critical point in the Gamberdella Experience where our 40 years in the bridal business matters the most. With thousands of brides served, we know what dress styles accentuate a bride’s unique shape and style. As such, our consultants will very often provide dress selections that you never considered – that many times become your perfect dress.

Quite simply, our consultants work patiently with you until we find your perfect dress. Our consultants’ one and only job is making you look and feel beautiful on your wedding day.

Our Welcoming, Modern Bridal Salon

Walk in to our newly renovated salon and the mood is set – beautifully appointed, open and stylish… but warm and welcoming. Our modern salon includes features allowing for a customized experience for each bride:

  • Four private dressing areas, including one large area available for larger parties

  • Audio system allowing you to control music from your phone in the dressing area.

  • Video and communication technology allowing you to virtually connect to anyone, anywhere:

    • Virtually bring a special person in your life in on your dress selection

    • Connect directly to some of our designers for special requests and added advice

  • Digital Photography and Green Screen capability allow for you to memorialize your Gamberdella Experience

  • Separate areas in the salon dedicated to Bridesmaids and Mothers – we have everything you need for your entire bridal party.

  • Sundays Available for Appointments for Larger Parties – We recognize that some brides want to bring more family and friends into this experience. While we recommend a first appointment with a smaller group to narrow your selections, we reserve Sundays to host larger parties for longer periods of time. Call for details.

Designers & Collections

Our designers and collections are the best in the Mid-Atlantic Area. Not content with simply defaulting to the “designer in favor” at any point in time, we continuously search the globe to find unique new collections for you.

We have exclusive relationships with many of our designers. Simply put, we pride ourselves in having a unique selection of dresses, many of which you can only get from Gamberdella.

We are vigilant in our search for new designers with collections that will enhance our unique style.

History and Family

When mother and daughter, Rita and Mary Gamberdella started their bridal salon in 1978, little did they know they would touch the lives of so many brides and their families for over 40 years.Since its very beginning, Gamberdella has been a family business employing dozens and dozens of family members over the years. You might say it is almost a rite of passage for women in our family to work at Gamberdella at some point in their life.

In early 2018, Mary reached out to her cousin, Brian Rogers, to help develop and execute a plan to innovate and redefine the bridal business for the next 40 years. Mary and Brian completed the plan in 2018 and are excited to roll it out in 2019.  Brian, whose grandmother Theresa was a Gamberdella, is a successful entrepreneur. He and his wife, Lisa are the parents of four daughters – Kate, Kellie, Kendall and Kerrigan. Kerrigan is currently working in the business when she is not attending school.

This legacy of elegant bridal fashions and highly personalized client service continues today under the leadership of Mary Gamberdella.
